MAJESTIC

In the land of carousel magic lived a little colt named Majestic. His biggest wish was to become a carousel horse. Becoming a carousel horse meant he would stand tall, proud and have the magic all carousel horses have.

Majestic wanted to be like his father, the master of all carousel horses. Every day, Majestic would

watch his father as he trained the other horses to ride the carousel.

As the music started, and the carousel began to go around and  around. Majestic would stand as

tall and proud as he could, pretending he was leading the carousel. Up and down, around and around the carousel played it’s magical music.

Day after day, as the carousel horses were sent for training, Majestic would ask his father if he were big enough to become a carousel horse. His father would always say he was too little, not big enough to ride on a carousel. But that didn't stop Majestic from watching and learning all he could. Majestic wanted to become the best carousel horse of all.

One day when all the carousel horses were gone to the carousels, Majestic's father received a request for a very special type of carousel horse. He had to be the finest, proudest and most gentle of all, the one that had the biggest heart and the most love for children.

Majestic's father called all the carousel horses together. He told them of the special request. All the carousel horses wanted to be chosen as the special one.

Majestic's father knew this choice would not be easy. The finest was not the most gentle, and the proudest was not the one with the biggest heart.

As Majestic's father listened to the magical music, he looked at all the horses one by one. If only there was that one very special carousel pony for a very special request.

Majestic knew his father was troubled and he wanted to watch the horses train, so he followed his father around the carousels. As the music played, and the carousel went around and around, Majestic practiced standing proud and tall.

Majestic’s Father turned, looking at Majestic. Majestic was twisting his head and flipping his mane as he pranced to the music of the carousel. Majestic is perfect, Father thought to himself. Majestic has a heart bigger than he is. He stands proud and tall, and is perfect for the children.

Majestic's father went to the stables. He asked Majestic's mother to make the smallest, most beautiful, and most magical saddle she had ever made.

Majestic's father called all the carousel horses together, for indeed, he had found that very special pony and it was time to crown Majestic a carousel horse.

All the horses were so proud of Majestic. They asked him to be the lead horse for his first ride on the carousel.

Majestic stood proud and tall as the music played and the carousel went around and around. Majestic's head was held high and his mane blew in the wind.

Majestic's father and mother were very pleased.

Now, it was time for Majestic to receive his saddle. Majestic’s father carefully placed it on his back. Suddenly there was a brilliant twinkle of stardust from the magic that was now his. Majestic was now a true carousel horse, with the entire magic carousel horses have.

Where is Majestic, now? You'll find him at the children’s hospital, in the activity room, where he stands proud and tall.

Every day, Majestic uses his magic to help children fulfill their imagination and dreams, a very important part of getting well.

Majestic was truly the most gentle and most loving carousel horse of all.
